Customer Accounts Hub Integration

Set up the Customer Accounts Hub integration to show digital downloads in Shopify customer accounts.

Customer Accounts Hub (CustomerHub) is a Shopify app for customizing customer account pages — and Fileflare integrates with it directly so digital downloads appear inside CustomerHub’s account UI without any code changes.

Requires the Fileflare Premium plan (for customer-account downloads) and the CustomerHub Shopify app. The integration uses CustomerHub’s PowerUp system — no theme code edits needed.

When you’d use this

  • You’re already using CustomerHub for customer accounts and want digital downloads to live alongside your other account features.
  • You want to skip Shopify’s classic account theme code and use CustomerHub’s flexible builder instead.
  • You want a “View all downloads” link in CustomerHub’s main account menu.

Setup

1. Enable customer account downloads in Fileflare

  1. In Fileflare, go to Settings → Checkout settings.
  2. Enable Display download links on the customer accounts order page.
  3. Save.

2. Pick a method in CustomerHub

Two options — they can be combined. Option A puts a single “View all downloads” link in CustomerHub’s main account menu (cross-order view). Option B puts the per-order download box on each individual order page.

  1. In CustomerHub, click Customize.
  2. Scroll to Build your Account Menu.
  3. Click Custom Link.
  4. Name it (e.g., “Access downloads”) and set the URL to /apps/digital-downloads.
  5. Save.

When customers click the menu item, they land on Fileflare’s “View all downloads” page showing every download from every order.

Option B: download box on each order page

  1. In CustomerHub, go to PowerUps.
  2. Find Fileflare and click PowerUp.
  3. Toggle on, save.

Now each order page in CustomerHub shows the Fileflare download box for that order’s digital assets. Styling inherits from your CustomerHub theme.

Test it

Place a test order, log into the test customer’s account in CustomerHub, and verify downloads show up in the place(s) you configured.

Common issues

  • PowerUp not showing — confirm Fileflare is on the Premium plan and the customer-account-downloads setting is enabled.
  • “View all downloads” link works but order pages are empty — Option A and Option B are independent. Enable the PowerUp (Option B) for per-order download boxes.
  • Customer logs in but sees no downloads on order page — check the order’s payment status is Paid, and that the products in the order have assets attached in Fileflare.
